Bored Pile Slurry Specification Checker: Density, Marsh Funnel, pH and Sand Content
A specification checker should compare field values with selected project limits, not impose one Mudolog universal table.
Required inputs
- Support fluid: mineral, polymer or custom blend.
- Stage: fresh, working or pre-concrete.
- Sample location/depth.
- Density, Marsh, pH and sand.
- User-entered minimum/maximum limits.
Diagnostic logic
High density + high sand → coarse solids. High density + low sand → fines. High Marsh + normal density → formulation/rheology. Sudden pH increase after concrete → investigate cement contamination.
Status language
Use Within Selected Limits, Review, Outside Limits, Not Ready for Concrete. Avoid artificial 0–100 scores that can hide one critical failure.
Reference presets
Published guide-spec values may be offered as clearly labelled reference examples, never as automatic project approval criteria. Blended systems should default to custom project limits.
Trend mode
Store changes from fresh to working to pre-concrete condition. The trend often reveals contamination earlier than one isolated value.

This checker compares values; it does not provide structural acceptance. Project specifications and the responsible Engineer/QC authority govern.
