MUDOPEM is Mudolog’s primary emulsifier for oil-based and synthetic-based drilling fluids where stable water-in-oil emulsion formation and electrical stability are required.
Applications
It is used as part of a complete invert-emulsion system with base oil, brine, lime, wetting agent, fluid-loss additive, rheology control and weighting material as required.
Product Selection
Oil/water ratio, brine composition, base oil, temperature, solids and target electrical stability should be considered before fixing dosage.

Is a secondary emulsifier still required?
