MUDOSEM is Mudolog’s secondary emulsifier for invert-emulsion drilling fluids where emulsion maintenance, wetting balance and field robustness must be supported.
Applications
It is used with the primary emulsifier and the rest of the OBM package according to oil/water ratio, contamination, temperature and solids conditions.
Product Selection
The secondary-emulsifier requirement should be determined from complete-system laboratory testing rather than a fixed universal ratio.
