Drilling solid control shakers are used to remove formation cuttings generated during drilling, which can disrupt the rheological, chemical, and physical properties of the drilling mud. To maintain the properties of the mud, solid control equipment is used during circulation to remove unwanted solids from the mud. The first of these elements is the solid control shaker. The shaker, through its vibrating screen, separates the solids from the mud, allowing the unwanted solid particles to be filtered out via the screen mesh, and the cleaned mud is then recirculated.
